The activities will take place in East Africa and the Amazon, areas significantly impacted by representative environmental changes and impacts, where several works on, notably, socio-environmental monitoring, environmental impacts on health and well-being, biodiversity and community-based conservation programs, have been carried out for more than a decade. In this context, the MOSAIC project constitutes both a logical continuity in their objectives, and a paradigm shift in the way local stakeholders are involved and the FAIRisation of data and knowledge is addressed.
