Yesterday marked the opening of the #COP30, and the MOSAIC team will be present today in Belém to call for action and remind everyone that protecting the health of vulnerable populations also means preserving the future of the Amazon — and of the planet.Climate change and environmental degradation have an impact on the emergence of pandemics. This is particularly true in the Amazon in cross-border areas, which are being studied by the MOSAIC project.Today, the MOSAIC team will co-lead the ‘One world, One health: when territories and knowledge come together in the face of epidemics’ session and organises an exhibition "Addressing climate change and environmental degradation in border territories based on data and community knowledge".These events are organised by Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD), Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz), Ambassade de France au Brésil (Fefaccion project), MOSAIC european project, CIRAD, PICTIS Plataforma Internacional, Institut Pasteur de la Guyane and other Partners.#onehealth#COP30Brazil Ver maisVer menos
